Each session will begin at 10 AM and be approximately two hours in length. The first session will include a bit of history and time for forming vessels. During the intervening week Greg will bisque fire the work. The second session will consist of glazing and glaze firing. Each participant will have the opportunity to make and take home their own lovely creation. The workshop costs $35 with all supplies included. Greg suggests wearing grubby clothes and bringing hand lotion.
Greg is an enthusiastic teacher and story teller who has immersed himself in Native American culture and has a wealth of information to share with us. As well as a potter, Greg loves to carve wood in the style of the Salish Tribe. He is the curator the current Japanese art exhibit at the White River Valley Museum and has done several presentations for AVCA. Don’t miss this marvellous opportunity to work with Greg in a creative and fun workshop!
